A New Kind of Energy — Our First Collaboration

We’ve always believed that good design doesn’t need to shout to be felt.
That’s why this moment feels important.
For the first time, we’ve opened our collection to another artist — and the result is something we never expected to have on our site.
A Different Kind of Conversation
When we first connected with Artūras Rakauskas of Popart’uras, we were drawn to the energy in his work. Where we usually work in soft palettes, quiet compositions and natural textures, his pieces speak in bold colour, strong graphics and iconic imagery.
It felt like an interesting question to explore: what happens when our calm, Stockholm-inspired aesthetic meets the vibrant language of Pop Art?
The answer is now hanging on walls.
We didn’t want to dilute either voice. Instead, we created a dedicated space on the site where these pieces can exist on their own terms — with visual touches that let the contrast breathe.
Meeting Popart’uras
Popart'uras is a self-taught artist who draws from everyday life, urban energy and pop culture. His work carries a certain immediacy and joy that feels refreshing next to our more grounded approach.
This collaboration isn’t about one style winning over the other. It’s about letting two very different ways of seeing the world sit side by side — and discovering that they can actually speak to each other.
A New Collection of Pieces
The collaboration spans eight decks, each capturing the spirit of where our two worlds meet. A few that give you a sense of the range:
Each one is printed on the same premium 7-ply maple we use for every deck, with the same attention to finish and durability. Only the visual language has changed.

Why We Did This
We’ve always been selective about what enters our collection. Growth has never been the goal — staying true to what feels right has.
This felt right.
It opens a door for people who love our quality and craftsmanship but want something with more colour and presence in their space. It also lets us explore what Poire Noire can become without losing the soul of what we’ve built.
We’re still the same small team obsessed with thoughtful details and pieces that feel good to live with. We’ve simply added a new layer.
