A Wild Start to the Year — Thank You for Keeping Us Busy

The first half of this year has been anything but quiet.
Honestly, when we started Poire Noire, we hoped people would connect with our vision of bold interior decor. What we didn't expect was just how quickly so many of you would bring our pieces into your homes.
Over the past months, we've shipped more orders than ever, worked on some truly unique custom projects, and had the chance to see our designs displayed in spaces all across Europe and beyond.
For a small team obsessed with design, quality, and detail, that's incredibly rewarding.
The Custom Projects We Won't Forget
One of the highlights of this year has been the growing number of custom requests.
Some clients wanted existing collections adapted to fit their interiors. Others came to us with entirely new ideas that eventually became one-of-a-kind wall art pieces.
Every custom project presents a different challenge, and that's exactly why we enjoy them so much. Seeing an idea move from a conversation to a finished piece hanging on a wall never gets old.
Sets Built by You
The Mix & Match builder has been one of our favourite things to watch people use. Below are some of the combinations that stood out — put together by customers, not us.

— three completely different moods that somehow agree on the wall.

We Sold Out
For the first time, several of our products sold faster than anticipated.
While running out of stock is a good problem to have, it's still a problem.
A small number of customers received emails from us explaining that their orders could be delayed by up to a week while we replenished inventory. We always prefer being transparent rather than making promises we can't keep.
The good news is that we prepared for this scenario well in advance.
Additional inventory was already in production, allowing us to restock quickly and minimize delays.
As of now, we're fully restocked and operating normally.
Orders are moving again, production is flowing, and we're ready for what's next.
Growing Without Compromising
One thing hasn't changed since day one.
We're still extremely selective about quality.
It would be easy to chase growth by cutting corners, using cheaper materials, or speeding up production. But that's never been what Poire Noire is about.
Every piece that leaves our workshop still has to meet the same standards we've had from the beginning. If we wouldn't proudly display it in our own homes, we won't ship it.
Simple as that.
Something New Is Coming
The second half of the year is already shaping up to be even more exciting.
We've been working behind the scenes on several new additions that we're not quite ready to reveal yet.
What we can say is this:
New products are coming.
New board sets are coming.
And for the first time, some of these releases are the result of collaborations with artists whose work we genuinely admire.
We're keeping the details under wraps for now, but these projects have been in development for months and we're excited to finally share them when the time is right.
